Hex Lag Screws

Hex Lag Screws

Also known as lag bolts, these screws come in longer lengths than wood screws and are easy to tighten with a wrench. Screws are threaded at least 2/3 of their length. Length is measured from under head. All have a minimum Rockwell hardness of B70 and meet ASME B18.2.1. Type 316 stainless steel, 18-8 stainless steel, and hot-dipped galvanized steel are a good choice for ACQ-treated (arsenic-free) lumber.
